Mouse was an anime comedy and adventure series that first premiered on January 5, 2003. It followed the exploits of Sorata Muon, a master thief who could steal anything while alerting authorities beforehand so they could try to stop him but often failed. The show depicted his humorous escapades as he was pursued by his female assistants, law enforcement, and a secret art protection society, all in short 15-minute episodes. The narrative combined elements of comedy, action, and fantasy, set in a world where theft was carried out with a playful twist.
The cast included Kappei Yamaguchi as Sorata Muon / Mouse, Kikuko Inoue as Mei Momozono, Mai Nakahara as Hazuki Kakio, and Yukari Fukui as Yayoi Kuribayashi.
