Moshidora was an anime series that aired in 2011. It was a drama and sports-themed story about Minami Kawashima, who became the new manager of Tokyo's Hodokubo High School baseball team to support her best friend, Yūki Miyata. Yūki was the current manager but faced health issues that led her to the hospital and potential surgery. During her search for a helpful book, Minami accidentally bought "Management: Tasks, Responsibilities, Practices" by Peter Drucker, which provided her with unconventional guidance on managing the team.
The series featured Yōko Hikasa as Minami Kawashima and Kana Hanazawa as Yūki Miyata.
