Is Morfonication coming back?

Morfonication ended on July 29, 2022, on Tokyo MX. The show aired as a two-episode anime special that concluded in 2022.

Morfonication was a character-driven anime special set after BanG Dream! Season 3. It focused on the band "Morfonica" as the members reflected on their identities, insecurities, and growth as a band. The story was self-contained within the main BanG Dream! universe but did not advance the overall franchise plot.

The series featured voice actors Amane Shindou as Mashiro Kurata, Hina Suguta as Toko Kirigaya, Yuuka Nishio as Nanami Hiromachi, Mika as Tsukushi Futaba, and Ayasa as Rui Yashio. Each episode had a runtime of 30 minutes.
