Moonlight Mile was a science-fiction anime series that aired in 2007. It was a drama and adventure story set in a future where the discovery of Helium 3 on the moon led to a NASA project called Nexus aimed at harnessing this energy source for Earth. The series followed two mountain climbing partners, Saruwatari Gorou and Jack F. Woodbridge, who both dreamed of reaching outer space after witnessing the ISA Space Station. The narrative focused on their journeys and the pursuit of their ambitions to make space travel a reality.
The show had a runtime of approximately 25 minutes per episode and consisted of 26 episodes across two seasons.
