Is Moko coming back?

Moko ended on July 4, 2022, on Whakaata Māori. The show concluded its first season after airing eight episodes from May 16, 2022.

Moko was a documentary series that explored the decline and modern revival of traditional tā moko (Māori tattoo) in Aotearoa. It featured stories of survival, self-determination, courage, healing, and the reclamation of identity, highlighting the cultural significance of tā moko today.

Each episode had a runtime of approximately 30 minutes.
