Mengyou Dunhuang was a comedy, anime, fantasy, and history series that premiered on July 6, 2020. It followed Wu Tianji, who was tasked with repairing the heavenly scriptures after their powers dissipated. To do so, she needed to relive the stories recorded in the scriptures, which led her to the ancient city of Dunhuang. During her journey, she accidentally entered the world of frescoes within the Mogao Caves, adding a fantastical twist to her quest.

The series consisted of one season with five episodes, each approximately three minutes long, and was released on the Bilibili web channel.
