Matrix was a drama series that aired in 1993. It followed Steven Matrix, a freelance hitman who was shot and left waiting to enter the Other Place for his sins. An elderly man saw potential in Matrix and sent him back to Earth, where he was tasked with redeeming himself by using his former murderous skills to assist others. The show featured characters from the City In Between, who could appear as various figures such as skateboarders, nuns, or accountants.
The series starred Nick Mancuso as Steven Matrix, with Phillip Jarrett playing Billy Hicks, Carrie-Anne Moss as Liz Teel, and John Vernon as the Narrator.
