Is Massage Detective Joe coming back?

Massage Detective Joe ended on July 1, 2017, on TV Tokyo. The show aired its entire first season, consisting of 12 episodes, from April 8 to July 1, 2017.

Massage Detective Joe was a mystery comedy series that followed Joe Yabukihara, a massage therapist with extraordinary skills. The series was set in Japan and premiered in 2017. Joe worked for Madam Eco and was often sent on house calls, much to his annoyance as an introvert. Despite his reluctance, he frequently found himself involved in murder cases, which he solved using his massage techniques. His catchphrase was "That's this case's pressure point!" and each episode featured him uncovering clues through his unique approach.

The cast included Yuichi Nakamaru as Joe Yabukihara, Fuka Koshiba as Yoko Aguri, and Wada Masato as Torao Kato. Other cast members were Yukiyoshi Ozawa, Mitsuko Baisho, Yoshiaki Yoza, Yugo Mikawa, and Kozo Sato.
