Magikano was a comedy and fantasy anime that premiered in 2006. It was about Ayumi Mamiya, a witch cursed to lose her powers, and the challenge she faced to wake up Haruo Yoshikawa's latent magical abilities in order to break her spell. Haruo believed he was a normal boy, but his three sisters secretly possessed magical powers and kept him unaware of the existence of magic. The story centered around Ayumi's efforts to awaken Haruo's magic, which put her at odds with his protective sisters.

Each episode had a runtime of approximately 25 minutes.
