Luck was a drama series that aired in 2012, exploring the worlds of horseracing and gambling through the lives of a diverse group of characters surrounding a California racetrack. The show focused on Chester "Ace" Bernstein, a seasoned gambler recently released from prison, who teams up with his longtime chauffeur Gus Economou to develop a complex plan involving the Santa Anita Racetrack. As they strategized, they recruited Turo Escalante, a trainer with a questionable reputation, while other characters included a hopeful trainer nurturing a promising thoroughbred and a group of racetrack groupies trying their luck with an elusive betting scheme.
