Locodol was a comedy anime series that premiered in 2014. It was about Nanako, an ordinary high school girl, who was persuaded by her uncle to become a local idol alongside her upperclassman Yukari. The two girls formed the Nagarekawa Girls group and took part in various community activities such as mall interviews, local TV appearances, and small live events on department store rooftops, aiming to promote their town.
