Little Lulu ended on April 3, 1977, after its first season. The show originally aired on TV Asahi and concluded its run in 1977.

Little Lulu was a family-friendly anime series that debuted in 1976. It centered around Lulu Moppet, a lively and cheerful seven-year-old girl living in Peekskill, who spent her days enjoying adventures and humorous situations with her friends and family. The series depicted everyday life and the various misadventures of Lulu and her friends, including Annie Inch, Tubby Tompkins, Sergeant Wilbur van Snobbe, and Iggy.

The cast included voice actors Sachiko Chijimatsu as Alvin, Junko Hori as Annie, Eiko Masuyama as Little Lulu, Matsushima Minori also voicing Little Lulu, Yoneko Matsukane as Iggy, and Keiko Yamamoto as Tubby.
