About Let Them Eat Cake
Let Them Eat Cake ended on October 14, 1999, on BBC One. The series was a comedy set mostly in and around the Palace of Versailles in the year 1782. It followed the intrigues of Colombine, the Comtesse de Vache, who was regarded as one of the most dangerous women in the court of King Louis XVI. With the help of her loyal servant Lisette, she uncovered many dark secrets of the aristocracy.
