About Legends of the Hidden Temple
Legends of the Hidden Temple ended on January 23, 2022. The show aired its final episode after its first season on The CW network.
This series was a reimagined, adult version of the original Nickelodeon game show. It took the adventure into a jungle setting, featuring tougher challenges and larger prizes. The format retained classic elements such as Olmec, the giant talking Mayan head, the Moat Crossings, the Steps of Knowledge, and the Temple Run. Each episode followed a hero's journey through a mysterious jungle where five teams competed to enter Olmec's Temple, avoid Temple Guards, retrieve a lost treasure, and return it to its owner.
The show was hosted by Cristela Alonzo. It was a one-season series with 13 episodes, each approximately 60 minutes long.
