Legend of Lu Zhen ended on May 28, 2013, on Hunan TV.

The series was a historical drama that aired in 2013. It told the story of Lu Zhen, who entered the palace to escape her cruel stepmother and quickly rose through the ranks because of her pottery-making skills. Throughout the series, she captured the heart of Crown Prince Gao Zhan and became involved in palace politics, ultimately helping him defeat a coup d'etat. Although she could not marry the prince, she was rewarded with the position of female prime minister, the highest in the land.

The show starred Zhao Li Ying as Lu Zhen and Chen Xiao as Gao Zhan. It was a drama, romance, and history series with a total of 59 episodes, each approximately 45 minutes long.
