Le Monstre was a drama series that aired in 2019, inspired by the story of Ingrid Falaise. It told the story of Sophie, a young woman who met a foreign student and quickly married him. The series depicted her experiences as she dealt with her husband's physical and emotional abuse over the course of three years, ultimately culminating in her escape from his control.

The cast included Rose-Marie Perreault as Sophie and Mehdi Meskar as M. The show had a runtime of 45 minutes per episode and consisted of 6 episodes in its single season.
