La recrue is a French comedy and crime series that premiered on May 6, 2024. It follows Kevin Lorin, an 18-year-old who has become a skilled scammer, reminiscent of Arsène Lupine. When police intervene during one of his schemes on the Basque coast, he unexpectedly surrenders instead of fleeing. His early retirement takes an unexpected turn when a police commissioner recruits him for a special infiltration into a homicide case. After this unusual experience, Kevin decides he wants to become a police officer.
