As Luca went to seek help, Nour disappeared, leading to an investigation led by local gendarmes Manue and Johanna, both mothers of children involved in the incident. The series explored the complex dynamics within a community of farmers undergoing change, revealing hidden conflicts and family secrets that gradually affected the investigators' own families.
