Kulderzipken was a family-friendly comedy and adventure series that first premiered on April 11, 1998. It was a fairy tale about a simple farmer boy named Kulderzipken who, through an accident, succeeded in completing the first task to win the hand of princess Prieeltje, the daughter of King Jozef. The series depicted the various challenges and characters he encountered, often involving the king's attempts to prevent him from becoming king, aided by the mother of the devil and her son.
The show featured a cast including Frans Van der Aa as Duivel, Ianka Fleerackers as Princess Prieeltje, Jan Decleir as King Jozef, Karin Tanghe as Queen Angina, Lucas Van den Eynde and Marc van Eeghem as Grimm, Michael Pas as Kulderzipken, and Veerle Eyckermans as the Mother of the devil. Each episode presented a new task or character disrupting the peace, which Kulderzipken would ultimately resolve, saving the day.
