It followed the story of Mike Traceur, who became the driver of the advanced, AI-equipped KITT vehicle, as he fought crime alongside his high-tech car. The show showcased a modernized version of the iconic vehicle, capable of transforming into different vehicles and using holographic imagery to outsmart villains.
The cast included Justin Bruening as Mike Knight (Traceur), Deanna Russo as Sarah Graiman, Val Kilmer voicing KITT, Paul Campbell as Billy Morgan, and Sydney Tamiia Poitier as Carrie Rivai.
