Kanzen Muzai was a drama series that aired in 2024. It followed Chisa Matsuoka, a lawyer who was assigned to a retrial involving a case from 21 years earlier concerning the abduction and murder of a girl in Kagawa Prefecture. During the investigation, a new kidnapping case emerged, involving a young girl who was also abducted without charges being filed. This prompted Chisa to return to her hometown of Kagawa after ten years and work with a colleague to reexamine the old case, suspecting the same perpetrator might be responsible for both incidents. The story explored her efforts to uncover the truth and confront a suspect who may have once tried to kill her.
