Kannazuki no Miko was an anime series that aired in 2004. It was a fantasy and romance story about two high school girls, Himemiya Chikane and Kurusegawa Himeko, who were friends and classmates. Their peaceful lives were disrupted when an ancient evil reawakened, forcing them to assume the roles of shrine maidens of the Moon and Sun to fight against the emerging threat.
The show featured voice actors such as Ayako Kawasumi as Chikane Himemiya, Noriko Shitaya as Himeko Kurusugawa, and Ikue Otani as Sister Miyako. The episodes had a runtime of approximately 30 minutes each.
