Jamaica Inn was a historical drama series that aired in 2014. Set in 1820, it tells the story of Mary Yellan, a young woman who moves to the isolated Jamaica Inn in Cornwall after her mother's death. She soon discovers that her Aunt Patience is a shadow of her former self, and that her uncle Joss is involved in a smuggling ring operating out of the inn. The series explores themes of loyalty, morality, and danger as Mary becomes entangled in the criminal world and faces difficult choices.
