Itazura na Kiss: Love in Tokyo was a Japanese drama series that first premiered on March 29, 2013, on Fuji TV. The show was based on the manga Itazura na Kiss and was the second Japanese drama adaptation. It was a romantic comedy that followed the story of Kotoko Aihara, a high school girl who falls in love with the brilliant and aloof Naoki Irie. After a series of events, including her house being damaged by an earthquake, Kotoko moves in with her father’s friend and unexpectedly ends up living in the same house as Naoki.

The series starred Honoka Yahagi as Kotoko Aihara, Yuki Furukawa as Naoki Irie, and Yuki Yamada as Kinnosuke Ikezawa. It was a multi-season show with a total of 32 episodes, each approximately 50 minutes long.
