About It's About Time
It's About Time ended on March 12, 1967, after its first season on CBS.
This science-fiction comedy series, which premiered on September 11, 1966, was about two astronauts, Hector and Mac, who broke the time barrier and traveled back to the prehistoric period. The show initially focused on their adventures in the past, featuring a cave man named Gronk and his wife Shadd. During its run, the creators shifted the concept so that Hector and Mac made it to the twentieth century, bringing along the prehistoric characters.
The series starred Jack Mullaney as Hector, Frank Aletter as Mac, and Imogene Coca as Shadd, among others. It was a 30-minute show, and it aired for 26 episodes.
