Is Iron Grandma coming back?

Iron Grandma ended on July 8, 2018, after its second season aired on NHK BS Premium. The show concluded its run over a period of more than three years since its debut.

The series was a comedy, action, and espionage show that originally premiered in 2015. It was about two retired spies, Reiko Shiotani and Naomi Sato, who were once known as Salt and Sugar. The story focused on their reunion after 20 years and their adventures as they navigated new situations while recalling their past espionage activities.

The cast included Shinobu Otake as Reiko Shionoya, Shigeru Muroi as Naomi Sato, Akira Emoto, Haruhiko Kato, Yuichi Haba, Rie Minemura, Koji Ookura, and Norito Yashima.
