Internship Detective ended on November 6, 2023. The show aired its final episode on Tencent QQ after a single season of 24 episodes.

Internship Detective was a drama, comedy, and mystery series set in Old Shanghai in 2023. It told the story of Hu Xiaodie, a former movie star who became involved in a murder case. To prove her innocence, she teamed up with her assistant Hua Xiaoqing, an independent woman who had returned from abroad. Together, they learned investigation and reasoning skills, working with the Central Police Station to uncover the truth and grow into capable crime fighters.

Each episode had a runtime of approximately 10 minutes.
