Is In the Red coming back?
In the Red (1998–1998) — comedy · crime on BBC Two
About In the Red
In the Red ended on June 9, 1998, after its single season aired on BBC Two.
In the Red was a comedy crime series that aired in 1998. The show followed a series of killings of bank managers that caused turmoil in London, extending all the way to Parliament. The killer would contact a street-wise, often tipsy radio reporter, who was about to be sacked for his irreverence toward his station and the BBC. While suspicion initially pointed to a lead singer of a rock group known for the "In The Red" music, the series incorporated multiple sub-plots typical of British mystery storytelling.
The cast included Alun Armstrong as DCI Frank Jefferson, Victoria Carling as DS Marten, and Richard Griffiths as Geoffrey Crichton Potter. The series featured a total of three episodes, each lasting about 60 minutes.
