Is In Plain Sight coming back?

In Plain Sight ended on December 21, 2016, on ITV1. The series consisted of a single season with three episodes, concluding its story at that time.

The show was a drama and crime mini-series based on the true story of Lanarkshire detective William Muncie's efforts to bring Scottish killer Peter Manuel to justice. It depicted how Manuel, released from prison in 1955 after a series of convictions, went on a two-year killing spree, claiming eight lives in South Lanarkshire. The series focused on Muncie's dogged pursuit of Manuel, who was a unique criminal due to his lack of a clear motive and random choice of victims.

The cast included Douglas Henshall as William Muncie, Martin Compston as Peter Manuel, Shauna MacDonald as Agnes Muncie, and others. The series was rated 7.5 on TVMaze and had a runtime of 60 minutes per episode.
