Hvorfor hater du meg? is a personal documentary series in which Noman Mubashir explores the feeling of hatred in Norway in 2023. The series examines how different minorities experience incitement and hostility, and considers the effects this has on individuals and society. It also questions whether current social debates contribute to an environment where hatred can thrive and investigates ways to counteract such trends. In the series, Mubashir moves beyond his role as a journalist and embarks on a personal journey, confronting vulnerability and embracing his identity as a Norwegian-Pakistani, gay, and Muslim.

The show aims to provide an intimate look at issues of minority identity and social tension in Norway today.
