Hungry Heart: Wild Striker ended on September 10, 2003. The show aired its final episode on Fuji TV after its 52-episode run. It is no longer in production and has not been announced for a return.
Hungry Heart: Wild Striker was a sports-themed anime series that premiered in 2002. It told the story of Kano Kyosuke, a high school student who transferred to Jyoyo Orange High School and developed a passion for soccer. The series followed his journey to improve his skills and find his place on the team, inspired by his older brother, Seisuke, a famous A.C. Milan player who had introduced him to the sport.
The episodes had a runtime of approximately 30 minutes each.
