Houkago Teibou Nisshi was an anime series that followed the story of Hina Tsurugi, a first-year high school student who preferred indoor activities like crafting. Having recently moved to a seaside town, she was invited by her older schoolmate, Yūki Kuroiwa, to join the "Teibou" club and try fishing. The series depicted her experiences with eccentric club members and how her high school life was influenced by this new hobby.
The cast included Kanon Takao as Hina Tsurugi, Natsumi Kawaida as Natsumi Hodaka, Satomi Akesaka as Makoto Ohno, and Yū Sasahara as Yūki Kuroiwa.
