Hotaru no Hikari was a Japanese drama, comedy, and romance series that first premiered on July 11, 2007. The story was about Hotaru, who worked for a well-known interior design company. Despite her glamorous job, her personal life was quite the opposite; she preferred to stay at home in training wear and was not interested in men or socializing. The series explored her daily life and interactions, especially with her landlord, who was also her boss, Takano, after he discovered her living situation.
The show starred Haruka Ayase as Hotaru Amemiya and Naohito Fujiki as Seiichi Takano. It had a runtime of 60 minutes per episode.
