Himouto! Umaru-chan was a comedy anime series that premiered in 2015. It depicted the life of Umaru, a seemingly perfect 16-year-old girl admired by everyone for her intelligence, kindness, and popularity. However, at home, she transformed into a lazy, gaming and junk food-loving girl who left all household chores to her elder brother Taihei.
The show featured a cast including Aimi Tanaka as Umaru Doma, Akari Kageyama as Nana Ebina, Yurina Furukawa as Sylphynford Tachibana, Haruka Shiraishi as Kirie Motoba, and Kenji Nojima as Taihei Doma. The series did not have a rated score on TVMaze and had a runtime of approximately 25 minutes per episode.
