Hero was a South Korean drama series that aired in 2009. It was a story about Korea's top reporters and ordinary citizens fighting against the abuse of power by the elite. The series followed reporter Jin Do Hyuk, who was willing to use any means necessary to get a scoop. When he interviewed Axe gang boss Jo Yong Duk, he was encouraged to start their own newspaper. Jin Do Hyuk launched Yongduk Daily with Jo Yong Duk and hired his former co-workers, although he lied about their credentials. The story depicted their journey as they uncovered a large conspiracy that threatened to ruin their lives and credibility.

The cast included Lee Joon Ki as Jin Do Hyuk, Yoon So Yi as Joo Jae In, Uhm Ki Joon as Kang Hae Sung, and Baek Yun Sik as Jo Yong Deok. The series did not have a rated audience score on TVMaze and had a runtime of 60 minutes per episode.
