Is Hardball coming back?

Hardball ended on June 8, 2018, on BBC One.

Hardball was a high-speed quiz show that premiered in 2018. It featured six contestants competing against each other in a fast-paced game where they answered general knowledge questions to advance along a winding track. The challenge was to stay ahead of a rolling ball called the Hardball, which constantly chased the contestants. If the ball passed a player, the game was over for them. The format tested contestants' quick thinking and knowledge under pressure, with the goal of progressing as far as possible to win a cash prize.

The show was a game of rapid-fire questions combined with a physical race against the Hardball. Contestants needed to answer correctly to move forward, all while avoiding being caught by the relentless rolling ball. The series aired its first episode in May 2018 and concluded with its 20th episode in June of the same year. It was a tense and competitive program that kept viewers engaged with its unique blend of trivia and physical challenge.

The cast was led by Ore Oduba, who served as the presenter. Each episode had a runtime of approximately 45 minutes.
