Hard Time on Planet Earth was a science-fiction drama series that premiered in 1989. It followed Jesse, an alien exiled to Earth, who struggled to adapt to human life in Los Angeles. Accompanied by a floating robotic parole officer named Control, Jesse aimed to demonstrate compassion to earn his place back among his kind, often finding himself in trouble due to his unfamiliarity with Earthly customs.
The series featured Martin Kove as Jesse and Danny Mann as Control. It consisted of 13 episodes, each approximately 60 minutes long.
