Gugure! Kokkuri-san was a comedy, fantasy, and anime series that was first broadcast in 2014. It centered around Kohina, a young girl who summoned a Kokkuri-san, a ghost from Japanese folklore. The ghost, a handsome young man with white hair, initially intended to haunt her but soon became concerned about her unhealthy eating habits, mainly cup ramen. He then decided to stay and protect her, leading to humorous and supernatural situations.
The show featured a cast including Ryou Hirohashi as Kohina Ichimatsu, Daisuke Ono as Kokkuri-san, Takahiro Sakurai as Inugami, and Ryoko Shiraishi as both Kokkuri-san and Onna.
