God of War's return is unconfirmed.

The series was set to explore the story of Kratos, the God of War, who, after leaving his violent past behind in ancient Greece, found himself in the Norse realm of Midgard. The plot centered around Kratos and his estranged son as they embarked on a perilous journey to scatter his wife's ashes from the highest peak, fulfilling her final wish. Along the way, Kratos faced new gods and monsters, testing the strength of their bond and shaping the fate of the world.
