God Eater was an anime series that premiered in July 2015. It was set in a post-apocalyptic world in the Far East in 2071, where humanity fought against monstrous beings called aragami that consumed all life. The story followed a group of warriors wielding living weapons called God Arcs, who fought to protect what remained of civilization from these deadly creatures.
The series featured a cast led by Daisuke Sakaguchi as Kōta Fujiki, Hiroaki Hirata as Lindow Amamiya, and Maaya Sakamoto as Alisa Illinichina Amiella. It was rated 6.8 on TVMaze and each episode had a runtime of approximately 25 minutes.
