The anime is set during China's Three Kingdoms period, a time of war and political upheaval. It was a series that depicted the struggles of warlords and their armies as they sought to unify the nation. The story introduced a supernatural element with the Mouryou King, an evil spirit ruler intent on prolonging conflict and destroying the human world. To counter this threat, an organization called Tengen formed anti-Mouryou armies, and after the mysterious wipeout of the 6th anti-Mouryou corps, a group of adventurers was assembled to rebuild the team and continue the fight.

The series premiered on January 11, 2022, on BS-TBS and was classified as an anime. It was a 30-minute show that combined historical themes with supernatural battles.
