Flip Flappers was a Japanese anime series that premiered in 2016. It was a fantasy adventure that followed the story of two girls, Papika and Cocona, who discovered they held the keys to a mysterious door. Their adventures took place across different times and overlapping dimensions known as "Pure Illusion." Throughout their journey, they faced numerous obstacles while searching for the legendary crystal called the "Shard of Mimi," which was believed to grant any wish. When in danger, the girls could transform thanks to the Shard of Mimi shining, adding a fantastical element to their quest.

The show featured a cast including Minami Takahashi as Kokona, M・A・O as Papika, and others such as Airi Toshinō, Ayaka Ohashi, Jun Fukushima, Kenjiro Tsuda, Sayaka Inoue, and Yōko Hikasa.
