Is First Impressions coming back?
First Impressions (1988–1988) on CBS
About First Impressions
The most striking aspect of this briefly aired sitcom was that it was the first network series located in Nebraska. Located in Omaha, Nebraska, this brief summer sitcom followed the challenges faced by Frank Dutton (Brad Garrett), who, a year post-divorce, was raising his daughter Lindsay (Brandy Gold, the younger sibling of Missy and Tracey Gold), cautiously returning to the dating world, and attempting to launch his business, Media Of Omaha. An accomplished impressionist, he utilized his vocal abilities effectively in the advertisements created by his firm. Collaborating with him were his closest friend and associate Dave (Thom Sharp), whose grandiose delusions and neuroses were quite challenging to endure; Donna (Sarah Abrell), Media's ridiculously naive receptionist; and Raymond (James Noble), their quirky audio engineer whose compulsive gambling always left him on the brink of financial ruin. Mrs. Madison (Ruth Kobart) was Frank's widowed neighbor who frequently gave unsolicited and often unwanted motherly advice to both Frank and his daughter.
