Fireflies is a drama, mystery, and supernatural series that first premiered on June 5, 2025, on HOT3. It was set in a small, peaceful desert town where residents began to spontaneously combust under mysterious circumstances. The story followed Mimi, a mine clearance instructor, who believed the deadly phenomenon was linked to a childhood experience involving loneliness and an inner flame. Alongside her childhood friend Dikla, a police officer, they investigated the bizarre occurrences to uncover who was behind them and to prevent further terror.

The series featured Dana Ivgy as Dikla and Ninet Tayeb as Mimi, among other cast members. The episodes had a runtime of approximately 40 minutes each.
