Fermentation Family ended on February 23, 2012. The show aired its final episode on that date on jTBC.

Fermentation Family was a South Korean drama series that premiered in December 2011. It was a family and romance story centered around two sisters, Lee Kang San and Lee Woo Joo, who take over their family's traditional kimchi restaurant after their father leaves without notice. The series depicted their struggles to manage the restaurant and navigate personal relationships, as well as the arrival of Ki Ho Tae, an orphan and crime syndicate member seeking answers about his past. Over the course of the series, the characters shared food and life experiences that brought them closer, revealing themes of love, family, and self-discovery.

The cast included Park Jin Hee as Lee Kang San, Lee Min Young as Lee Woo Joo, and Song Il Gook as Ki Ho Tae.
