F/X: The Series was a crime and action television series that originally premiered on September 9, 1996. It followed Rollie Tyler, a special effects expert, who used his skills to assist his detective friend in solving crimes by creating illusions that made criminals see what they wanted to see. The series explored themes of perception and reality within the context of crime-solving.
The cast included Kevin Dobson as Detective Leo McCarthy, Cameron Daddo as Rolland "Rollie" Tyler, Christina Cox as Angela "Angie" Ramirez, Jason Blicker as Detective Francis "Frank" Gatti, Sherry Miller as Colleen O'Malley, Richard Waugh as Captain Marvin Van Duran, and Carrie-Anne Moss as Lucinda Scott.
