It was about Jack Costello, a retired cop turned private detective living in Miami, who handled various unusual cases. The series depicted his adventures alongside his old police buddy Sam Bosley and Jean Philippe Dumas, a cartoonist and amateur sleuth who nicknamed Costello 'Extralarge.' In its second season, the show followed Costello as he faced new dangerous cases with Bosley and Archibald, the son of an old friend.
