Ergo Proxy was a science-fiction anime series that first premiered on February 25, 2006. It was set in the utopian city of Romdeau, where humans and androids coexisted, but the city was disturbed by a series of murders. The story followed inspector Re-l Mayer and her android partner Iggy as they investigated these crimes and encountered mysterious phenomena called "Awakening" that challenged their understanding of reality.
The show featured a cast including Rie Saitou as Re-l Mayer, Koji Yusa as Vincent Law, and Ai Kobayashi as Mayahuel. It was a mature series with a runtime of approximately 25 minutes per episode and received a rating of 7.4 on TVMaze.
