Engineering an Empire was a documentary series that explored the engineering achievements of some of the world's greatest civilizations. Hosted by Peter Weller, an actor and professor at Syracuse University, the series used computer graphics to illustrate the architectural, political, and cultural accomplishments of empires such as Rome, Egypt, Greece, Carthage, the Aztecs, and the Maya. The show aimed to highlight how these civilizations built their enduring legacies through engineering feats.
The series featured Peter Weller as the host, guiding viewers through the history and engineering marvels of past empires. Each episode was approximately 64 minutes long.
