Sinag Obispo lives in the small but paradise-like town of Pelangi. Their town used to thrive as a successful mining town. But after the mines closed, many residents left to find work in the city. However, Sinag loves her hometown very much. She wants to preserve its traditions and culture through the community radio station she inherited from her grandfather.

Benjie Rosales is a fresh graduate of the architecture course. He lost his father Gabriel at an early age, so his widowed mother Amanda raised him alone. Unbeknownst to him, he is the grandson of a real estate magnate named Vicente Rosales. The Rosales family did not recognize Benjie because they did not approve of Gabriel and Amanda's marriage. 

Benjie will be surprised when his mother suddenly encourages him to reconnect with the Rosales. Vicente and Catalina, his aunt, will not be friendly to him. Only his grandmother Helen will accept him wholeheartedly. Helen will even encourage Vicente to let Benjie work in their real estate company.
